Built In Automation and Communications Fault Recovery
Built-in automation frees you from routine implementation tasks. For
example, the SkyWire™ SkySync client automatically keeps track of the rows
in each table that have been inserted, updated, or deleted since the
last synchronization. When you synchronize, the SkyWire™ SkySync client
automatically identifies the new, modified, or deleted rows and uploads
each to the SkyWire™ SkySync synchronization server.
During the synchronization process, state information is maintained
in both the application and the SkyWire™ SkySync synchronization server.
Should the synchronization be interrupted, both the SkyWire™ SkySync
synchronization server and application retain information regarding
their own states. Upon the next attempt to synchronize, they
automatically continue synchronization where they left off, without
explicit direction.
